7 Lagoons of Ausangate - Full Day Tour

Our 7 Lagoons Ausangate Full Day Tour is designed to explore rural paths and the stunning lagoons of various colors, resulting from the melting glaciers of Nevado Ausangate.
Itinerary
The adventure starts at 5:00 a.m. with pickup for exploring the "7 Lagoons" trek. This journey takes us 3 hours and 30 minutes southeast of Cusco to Pacchanta village (4,200 meters above sea level). The trek through the 7 Lagoons will take approximately 5 hours, traversing various scenic landscapes with moderate difficulty. You can spot alpacas, llamas, vizcachas, Andean geese, foxes, caracaras, yanaricos, and other local species.
Return to Pacchanta around 1:00 p.m. for relaxation in the hot springs followed by lunch prepared with fresh Andean products.

Ausangate Trek 2 Days / 1 Night
Day 1: Cusco, Pitumarca to Surina Qocha Camp
Pickup at 4:00 am from your hotel for a three-hour drive to the trek's starting point. After breakfast and briefing, trek through a green valley with views of Ausangate Mountain. Cross two mountain passes, including Pukaqocha (4,870 m) and Abra Minasniyuc (4,985 m). Camp near Surine Qocha Lagoon.
Day 2: Surine Qocha, Rainbow Mountain, Red Valley to Cusco
Early morning ascent to Rainbow Mountain viewpoint. Explore the Red Valley and descend through ancient Andean communities. Return to Cusco by bus.

This trek combines Rainbow Mountain and Red Valley exploration with the majestic Ausangate circuit. You'll be among the first to arrive at Rainbow Mountain around 5:00 PM and enjoy the sunrise in solitude.
Day 1: Cusco - Upis - Arapa Pass - Hatun Pucacocha
Early start with 4:00 am pickup. Trek through varied terrain, reaching Arapa Pass (4,800 m). Camp at Hatun Pucacocha Lake.
Day 2: Hatunpucacocha - Pucacocha Pass - Anantapata - Surinecocha
Cross Puca Pass (4,870 m) and Warmisaya Pass (4,985 m). Camp at Surinecocha.
Day 3: Surinecocha - Rainbow Mountain - Red Valley - Cusco
Early morning visit to Rainbow Mountain, followed by Red Valley exploration. Return to Cusco.
